Speaker and Curator Keitu Gwangwa, is dedicated to the active movement of African cultural and spiritual evolution.
CEO of Africa Zazi and founder of Zinza Institute, Keituletse Gwangwa’s passion in Social Change through Arts is recognized for connecting Artists across borders for common causes. Keitu’s foundation is in the Arts, after studying Theatre Arts at Midrand University, Keitu took a profound journey into her African Spiritual Heritage by accepting her calling to become a Sangoma. This enriched her understanding of African Indigenous Culture.
She is the former Windybrow Arts Centre Head of department, a space that focused on the development of young minds in becoming Socially Conscious Artists and, through thought leadership and Pan African Artistic expression. A 2019 US International Leadership Visitors Programme alumni, who, in her 19-year career span, found the perfect blend of her two greatest influences, merging Arts, Social Change and African Spirituality

Gwangwa formed Africa Zazi – Africa know yourself, which explores cultural and heritage promotion and preservation initiatives in Africa. Through workshops, art and Media, Africa Zazi aims to encourage pride in Africans, pride in their heritage and identity by unravelling the values and wisdom in African indigenous knowledge systems to utilize as tangible resource for today’s post-colonial, global African society
The not-for-profit, engages people in tackling the issue of Collective, generational and Individual trauma. Keituletse explores these topics through her work as a Sangoma and Trauma Release Therapist. She has spoken on panels about South Africa facing its traumatic history and current complexity in its traumatic tapestry and works with groups and individuals on Trauma Releasing practices.
